29 CFR 1910.184(d): Each day before being used, the sling and all fastenings and attachments were not being inspected for damage or defects by a competent person designated by the employer: On or about 10/29/2018, in the site work area of the Traffic Barricade Type H (TBH) form equipment located outside of the facility at 220 Cargill Road Connector, Macon, GA: Employee(s) used four (4) hook wire rope sling(s) without safety latches attached to prevent the material being lifted from fall off the hook.
