29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements, or appurtenant structures had been undermined and a support system or another method was not provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures: (a) ContractOne, Inc. at 105 Base Camp Circle, Granby, CO 80446: On or before June 14, 2018, the employer did not ensure that a support system or another method was provided to protect employees when street pavement was undermined. Employees were installing a water line in a trench that was approximately 8 feet deep, working near the main line tap where the street pavement was undermined. The street pavement was not supported. This condition exposed employees to cave-in and struck-by hazards.
