Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 008 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer shall have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. The training shall include the following areas, as applicable: On April 11, 2018, at the rear of 1242 Creekwood Ct. Batavia, a two story residential home, two employees involved with the erection of a welded frame scaffold and the removal of soffit from the home's eave had not received training from the employee of how to recognize hazards while erecting the scaffold and minimize fall hazards while working from the working platform of the scaffold.
