29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s) On or about 1/20/17 in the Bailer Department; the employer allowed employees to use one-hand trip control on the Continental Press (BESPRESS) [Model 86] to allow the ram to complete descending to the top of the baled cotton while the press operator used the other hand to remove cotton from the top of the baler; thus exposing employees to amputation injuries.
