29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iii): Flexible cords used as permitted in paragraphs (g)(1)(ii)(C), (g)(1)(ii)(G), or (g)(1)(ii)(I) of 29 CFR 1910.305 were not equipped with an attachment plug and energized from an approved receptacle outlet: Polyester department, cafeteria, microwaves: on or about November 17, 2017, provided microwaves for employee use were not connected to approved receptacle outlets. An unapproved metal outlet box was on the floor powered through the unapproved use of an extension cord. The electrical box had damaged extension cord plugged into it that ran through a hole in a table to connect to microwave's plug. Employees were exposed to electric shock and/or burns. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
