29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: a.) Edge Plastics, Inc. located at 449 Newman St. Mansfield, OH 44902; On or about December 18, 2015, the employer did not ensure employees were protected while verifying zero energy on plastic injection molding press #16. Employees were required to verify zero energy on the 480V injection molding press and did not wear the required face, eye, hand, and body protection, exposing them to electrical shock and arc flash hazards when verifying zero energy with a meter.
