29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous location, or safe for the hazardous location: (a) Throughout the facility; Employees were performing color dipping of pine cones and various other wood décor using category 2 flammable liquids such as but not limited to toluene, metallic cone dips and paint thinner in an area where the electrical wiring and installations were not intrinsically safe and using equipment that was not intrinsically safe for use in the area of category 2 chemicals.
