29 CFR 1910.119 (f)(1)(iii)(C) The employer did not develop and implement written operating procedures that provided clear instructions for safely conducting activities involved in each covered process consistent with the process safety information including control measures to be taken if physical contact or airborne exposure occured: a) GEA/FES ammonia refrigeration systems: The SOP OPS-04, Operation of Low Pressure Receivers VA1 and VA2, did not list the steps to be taken for physical contact or airborne exposure to ammonia, on or about 10/10/17. b) GEA/FES ammonia refrigeration system: The SOP for LK 18 and LK19 spiral air units, OPS-10A, did not list the steps to be taken for physical contact or airborne exposure to ammonia, on or about 10/10/17. c) GEA/FES ammonia refrigeration systems: The SOP OPS-01, Operation of C1, C2 or C3 FES Ammonia Compressors, did not list the steps to be taken for physical contact or airborne exposure to ammonia, on or about 10/10/17. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
