29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about May 15, 2023, at Department #3, sprocket wheels and chains were not enclosed or guarded which exposed employees to caught-between hazards in the following instances: a) In Department #3 Can Department, the Can Wash Machine's sprockets and chains (approximately 3 to 4 1/2 feet from the ground) were not guarded. b) In Department #3 Extrusion Area, the G250 Schuler 250-ton impact extrusion machine's sprockets and chains were not guarded.
