29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s) (Construction Reference 1926.59): a. On or about March 4, 2019, at the tank battery, the employer did not did not maintain copies of the required safety data sheets and did not ensure safety data sheets were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area for each hazardous chemical known to be present which included but were not limited to the following: Crude oil (flammable liquid) in oil and gas production water Fiberglass (irritant) SWS-9115 (oxidizer, corrosive) DS8014 Part A (irritant) DS8014 Part B (corrosive) Employees worked at storage and gun barrel tanks to install ventilation piping which exposed them to hazardous chemicals.
