Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 007B Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring, motors, and other equipment outside of but within twenty (20) feet of any spray area, and not separated therefrom by partitions, produced sparks under normal operating conditions and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part for Class I, Division 2 Hazardous Locations: a. On or about October 15, 2014, west paint building wall, a diesel fueled forced air portable heater was within 20 feet of the spray area, was not separated by a partition, and did not conform to the provisions of Subpart S for Class I locations. Employees spray flammable coatings and primers which exposes employees to fire and explosion hazards.
