29 CFR 1910.219(e)(1)(i): Horizontal belts which had both runs seven feet or less from the floor level were not guarded with a guard that extended to at least fifteen inches above the belt: (a) Maintenance Shop - The two v-belts off the motor, about three feet above the floor, on the air compressor did not have guarding on the side of the belts facing the motor, on or about May 18, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and shall state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
