29 CFR 1910.303(c)(3)(i): All splices and joints and the free ends of the conductors were not covered with an insulation equivalent to that of the conductors or with an insulating device identified for the purpose. (a) Acid washroom - On or about January 25, 2024, the employer allowed an electrical repair of a power cable from the panel box to the equipment that was spliced together using black electrical tape and was not equivalent to that of 120V to 440V electrical conductors, exposing employees to electrical hazards.
