29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iii): Internal parts of electrical equipment, including busbars, wiring terminals, insulators, and other surfaces, were damaged or contaminated by foreign materials such as paint, plaster, cleaners, abrasives, or corrosive residues. On or about March 9, 2023, and times prior thereto, internal components of live electrical boxes and cabinets were contaminated by a foreign substance identified as the by-products of the glass recycling process, exposing employees to electric shock, electrocution, and fire hazards, in the following instances (a-b): a) The Main Control Panels in the 12-Mesh Building; and b) Breaker Box in the 5/8 Building along Southern Wall.
