29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a) On or about October 13, 2022, and at times prior thereto, the work rest for the Palmgren grinder was greater than one-eighth inch from the wheel exposing employees to hazards associated with wheel breakage. b) On or about October 19, 2022, and at times prior thereto, the work rest for the Bench Grinder, s/n/ Y, was greater than one-eighth inch from the wheel exposing employees to hazards associated with wheel breakage.
