29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i): A program of periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power press(es) was not established and followed to insure that all parts, auxiliary equipment and safeguards were in a safe operating condition and adjustment: On or about April 13, 2022 employees are exposed to caught-in hazards when a program for periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power presses was not implemented: a) MP 10 has a broken guard on one side of the machine. b) MP 8 has an unsecured guard. c) MP 1 has a laser curtain device installed that was not functioning. d) MP 11 has a broken guard that is not fixed in place to protect the operator.
