29 CFR 1926.62(l)(1)(i): The employer did not communicate information concerning lead hazards according to the requirements of OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard for the construction industry, 29 CFR 1926.59: (a) On or about July 15, 2021 and many times prior to July 15, 2021, employees were exposed to the recognized hazard of lead during the performance of their job duties, including cutting and torch burning (with oxygen/ propane gases) of rivet heads, cross members and upper laterals with lead containing paint at Nisqually River Bridge 25.3. The employer did not provide employees with hazards of lead training including but not limited to health hazards of lead, methods of exposure to lead and how to protect themselves from lead exposure. Such exposures are likely to lead to the development of serious illnesses such as, but not limited to high blood pressure, declines in mental functioning, pain, numbness or tingling of the extremities, muscular weakness, headache, abdominal pain, memory loss, mood disorders, reproductive organ harm.
