29 CFR 1910.303(c)(3)(i): Conductors were not spliced or joined with splicing devices identified for the use or by brazing, welding, or soldering with a fusible metal or alloy. All splices and joints and the free ends of conductors were not covered with an insulation equivalent to that of the conductors or with an insulating device identified for the purpose. Building 1327, 2nd Floor Tire Storage Room: The HVAC unit on the North wall had exposed wiring spliced together with black tape. Employees pulled tires off racks in this aisle and passed by the electrical hazards to exit the narrow aisle way. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards.
