29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: On or about February 1, 2019 and times prior thereto and times thereafter, the employer did not have an effective program to ensure all surfaces were kept free of lead to include, but not limited to, the table and a chair used by employees when they take their breaks, the handle of the refrigerator used by employees and the handles of employee lockers. Wipe samples taken throughout the facility showed multiple areas above the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guideline of 21.53 ug/100cm2. This condition exposed employees to inhalation and ingestion hazards.
