29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) On or about July 19, 2018 and times prior thereto at Tooling Shop Area, employees operated a United States Electric Tool bench grinder with tongue guard that was 1/2 inch from the wheel (left wheel). (b) On or about July 19, 2018 and times prior thereto at Tooling Shop Area, employees operated a United States Electric Tool bench grinder with tongue guard 5/8 inch from the wheel (right wheel).
