29 CFR 1910.184(e)(2)(ii): Makeshift links or fasteners formed from bolts or rods, or other such attachments were used: The employer does not ensure makeshift links or fasteners formed from bolts or rods, or other such attachments are not used. This violation was observed on or about November 15, 2017, in the thermal spray area at the facility, exposing employees to struck-by and crushed-by hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to ensure makeshift links or fasteners formed from bolts or rods, or other such attachments are not used.
