29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(15): Ladders were not inspected by a competent person for visible defects on a periodic basis and after an occurrence that could affect their safe use: a) North entrance overhang: Employee was using a ladder that resembles the Werner FS106 6 ft Type I Fiberglass Single Sided Step Ladder which didn't have labeling that could be read; employee was standing on top of ladder while supporting one end of 2x10x approximate 29 foot long wood plank, on or about 02/24/2017. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
