29 CFR 1910.184(i)(9): Synthetic web sling(s) were not immediately removed from service for having snags, cuts and tears: a/ At the Danieli Line, specifically at the Pay-Off Area, a synthetic web sling used to move spools of rough raw steel product via an unmarked, overhead crane possessed a hole clear through the material. b/ Inside of Building #2, the synthetic web sling used to move finished steel product via a Demag 7T Underhung Crane, s/n 79192, was badly ripped in multiple places.
