29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1):For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer did not fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1, unless the employer assesses and limits the exposure of the employee to respirable crystalline silica in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section Location: 2324 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06705 - On or about September 7, 2022, employees were tuckpointing the exterior stone walls of a mausoleum (Table 1, Task xi) but did not fully implement the requirements of Table 1 in that: 1. They used hand-held Makita angle grinders that were not equipped with commercially available shrouds and dust collection systems. 2. They did not operate and maintain the tools in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
