29 CFR 1926.1101(i)(4)(i): The "competent person" did not examine work suits worn by employees at least once per work shift for rips or tears that may occur during the performance of work: At a worksite located at 12650 Manchester Ave, Grandview, MO 64030: The employer is failing to protect employees from the health hazards associated with asbestos. This was demonstrated on or about June 3, 2022, and at times prior to when the employer did not examine the work suites provided to employees working with Class II asbestos-containing materials for rips or tears at least once per shift. Suits worn by workers showed rips and tears in them while the removal of asbestos-containing materials was occurring.
