29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii):Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: The employer does not ensure unused openings on electrical equipment is effectively closed, at the CM Truck Beds facility, exposing employees to burns and shock hazards. a) This violation was observed on or about March 24, 2021, where a metal duel switch box was missing a light switch located by the last overhead door in the northwest corner of the facility b) This violation was observed on or about March 24, 2021, where a partially open cover to knockout on 240v panel on welding line# 1 c) This violation was observed on or about March 24, 2021, here a knockout was missing on a 480v panel in the compressor room Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure unused opening on electrical equipment is effectively closed.
