29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about June 11, 2019; and at times prior thereto; the employer did not ensure electrical equipment was free of hazards exposing the employees to potential electrical shock or fire hazards. 1. In the cabinet production area, employees used a shop floor fan with flexible extension cord that had the internal wires pulled out plugged into a damaged outlet. 2. In the wall production area, employees used damaged florescent lighting fixtures that were not equipped with a cover.
