29 CFR 1910.215(a)(2): Abrasive wheel(s) used on grinding machinery were not provided with safety guard(s) which covered the spindle end, nut, flange projections: The employer is failing to protect employees from amputation and caught-in hazards associated with abrasive wheels. This was most recently documented on or about 05/31/2019 at the Shamrock Tire & Auto Service, Inc. dba Tire Dealers Wholesale facility located at 3003 S. Broadway St. Wichita, Kansas 67216. The employer did not provide a guard cover to the spindle end, nut, and flange projection area of the abrasive wheel on the grinding machinery.
