29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields: (a)Dakota Bodies, LLC at 201 20th Avenue Southeast, Watertown, SD 57201: On or about and at times prior to October 30, 2018, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from welding process radiation hazards in that, the welding curtains in the sub part department was not maintained free of tears and damage. This condition exposed employees to welding processes radiation. (b)Dakota Bodies, LLC at 201 20th Avenue Southeast, Watertown, SD 57201: On or about and at times prior to October 30, 2018, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from welding process radiation hazards in that, the welding curtains along the corridor adjacent the office and design departments were not maintained free of tears and damage. This condition exposed employees to welding processes radiation.
