29 CFR 1910.157(c)(4): Portable fire extinguishers were not maintained in a fully charged and operable condition: a) Atlantic Precast Concrete - On or about March 15, 2018, a fire extinguisher in the paint area of the Channel Department was not maintained in a fully charged and operable condition exposing employees to burns. b) Atlantic Precast Concrete - On or about March 20, 2018, a fire extinguisher in the Base Side of Building #1 was not maintained in a fully charged and operable condition exposing employees to burns. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
