29 CFR 1910.159(c)(10): The minimum vertical clearance of 18 inches between automatic sprinkler systems sprinklers and the material below was not maintained: a. Newark Liberty International Airport, Terminal C, Material Services (Stores), Bulk Stores The minimum vertical clearance of 18 inches between the automatic sprinkler system and the material below was not maintained. Employees stacked boxes of materials on metal shelving systems in a manner which did not allow for 18 inch clearance. Materials were stored approximately 9 inches from sprinkler heads. Violation observed on or about March 12, 2014
