29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a) Paper Machine #2, north end of the basement on or about February 5, 2014, the outer jacket on the 110-volt power cord connected to the level transmitter that runs the motor to #1 save all white water chest was withdrawn, exposing the inner conductors and terminals to strain. b) Paper Machine #2 on or about February 5, 2014, the outer jacket on the 120-volt power cord connected to the #2 swing refiner motor was withdrawn, exposing the inner conductors and terminals to strain. c) Paper Machine #1 on or about February 5, 2014, the outer jacket on the 110-volts power cord connected to the solenoid valve to the water shower was withdrawn, exposing the inner conductors and terminals to strain. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED
