29 CFR 1926.760(d)(1): Guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems and their components did not conform to the criteria in �� 1926.502 (see Appendix G to this subpart). a) On or about June 22, 2013, snap hook, EN 362 2004/T Patented 0120 CE, had a defective safety interlock. The hook was located on a safety harness worn by iron workers bolting purlins on top of a rafter over 24 feet of elevation in Building 6, exposing employees to the hazards of falls. b) On or about June 22, 2013, and in times prior thererto, wire rope clips used for rigging the lifelines were not of the drop-forged type but were malleable cast iron, subject to breakage under load, exposing employees to the hazards of falls.
