Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish emp loyment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely t o cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:12/14/ 10 Location:House #5113 Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing techniques. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct thi s hazard is to install bracing in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of Amer ica recommendations per BCSI-B2. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
