29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a):Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s) a) On or about March 28, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the Niagra Press#9 have safeguards in place to prevent employees from reaching under to access the point of operation exposing employees to struck by hazards. b) On or about March 28, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the Minster press Type-110 Fixed Base had safeguards in place to prevent employees from reaching under to access the point of operation exposing employees to struck by hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
