29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed an employee to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service: a) In the shop located at 7211 Anderson Rd, Tampa, FL 33614: On or about 3/20/2024, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards, in that the DeWalt router unit (s/n DMBNXOR) flexible cord was cut and re-taped together exposing employees to energized wires.
