29 CFR 1926.62(i)(5)(i): The employer did not provide adequate handwashing facilities in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.51(f), for use by employees exposed to lead: (a) On or about 05/01/2024 at the MTA-F line a 2.10-mile-long elevated steel structure from Kings Highway above McDonald Ave/Shell Road/West 6th Street and West 8th Street, abrasive blasters working at Avenue T were not provided with handwashing facilities in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.51(f). NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
