29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about March 5, 2024, at Plantation Beach Club at South Sea Island Resort, located at 5400 Plantation Road, Captiva, FL, at or near Plantation Beach Club buildings 1009 - 1026: the employer exposed an employee to fall hazards of approximately 17 feet, in that, the employer did not ensure that the employee used fall protection while he was performing railing work.
