29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. a.) On or about February 28, 2024 and at times prior thereto, in the tool and dye area, an extension cord was zip-tied to a portable hoist and used by employees to provide power to hand tools and a 1 ton hoist. b.) On or about February 28, 2024 and at times prior thereto, by the Komatsu #9 60-ton press, extension cords were zip-tied together and were used by employees to provide power to equipment.
