29 CFR 1910.253(e)(3)(ii)(C)(3):Flashback protection was not provided by an approved device that would prevent flame from passing into the fuel gas system: a) Strobic Building - Employees are exposed to fire hazards in that the employer allows employees to operate the oxygen/acetylene torch set up without having a flashback arrestor in place. This condition was observed on or about January 4, 2024. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
