29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 PSI: (a) On or about July 6th, 2023, the employer did not ensure the compressed air nozzles used for cleaning off equipment in the facility were reduced to less than 30 PSI. The compressed air line was pressurized at approximately 94 psi. This condition exposed employees using the air hoses to the hazard of an embolism in the blood stream and flying debris.
