29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders were not located away from elevators, stairs, or gangways where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: (a)American Engineered Products, LLC at 605 4th Street Southeast, De Smet, SD 57231: On or about and at times prior to May 10, 2023, the employer did not ensure that four compressed gas N.O.S cylinders located on the north wall in the casino fabrication/metal fabrication area were secured. This condition exposes employees to struck-by hazards. (b) American Engineered Products, LLC at 605 4th Street Southeast, De Smet, SD 57231: On or about and at times prior to May 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that two compressed gas N.O.S cylinders located in the bag and tag area were secured. This condition exposes employees to struck-by hazards.
