29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training, and periodic inspections to ensure that, before employees performed servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy, could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment was isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: a) 201 N. Industrial Park Road, Milton, PA: An energy control program that included written machine specific lockout procedures, authorized employee training, and periodic inspections, had not been developed and implemented for employees who performed service and maintenance on press brakes, saws, shears, and other industrial machinery, which resulted in employee exposure to amputation and electrical shock or electrocution hazards, on or about March 8, 2023.
