29 CFR 1926.62(h)(3):Shoveling, dry or wet sweeping, and brushing were used when vacuuming or other equally effective methods were effective: At a jobsite located at 424 South Kansas Avenue Topeka, Kansas, employees working in room 106 were exposed to the hazards of lead while performing paint scraping activities in that employees dry swept lead containing debris. The employer failed to ensure that surfaces and work areas were not cleaned by shoveling, dry or wet sweeping, and brushing.
