29 CFR 1926.1060(a)(1):1926.1060(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each employee was trained by a competent person which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairs, and the procedures to follow to minimize those hazards. a) Heritage Shores Development, Whistling Duck Drive near Wilson Farm Rd, Seaford, DE 19933 - North Side of Framed Structure: Employees had not received training on the recognition of hazards and appropriate use of ladders. Employees were observed using a Werner fiberglass 6 foot A-frame (serial number undeterminable) for purposes other than designed as well as a 4 foot aluminum telescoping multi configuration (make, model and serial number underminable) ladder which did not extend three feet above the upper landing to gain access to the upper level of the two story residential construction project on or about 9/21/2022.
