Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 007 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1053(i)(2): The employer did not make available an initial (baseline) medical examination within 30 days after initial assignment when the employee had not received a medical examination that meets the requirements of this section within the last three years. a) On or about December 02, 2020, at the Aggregate Filler machine, employees ( Forklift Operator/Laborer) were exposed to airborne Crystalline Silica in concentrations of 149mcg/m3 while filling bags of gravel/sand/pebbles and stacking bags on a pallet without being provided a baseline medical examination within 30 days of initial assignment. b) On or about December 02, 2020, at the Aggregate Filler machine, employees (QC/Laborer) were exposed to airborne Crystalline Silica in concentrations of 176.3mcg/m3 while filling bags of gravel/sand/pebbles and stacking bags on a pallet without being provided a baseline medical examination within 30 days of initial assignment. c) On or about December 02, 2020, at the Aggregate Filler machine, employees (Laborer) were exposed to airborne Crystalline Silica in concentrations of 75.2mcg/m3 while filling bags of gravel/sand/pebbles and stacking bags on a pallet without being provided a baseline medical examination within 30 days of initial assignment.
