29 CFR 1926.1153(i)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee covered by this section could demonstrate knowledge and understanding of at least the information contained in 1926.1153(i)(2)(i)(A) - (F): a) Standard Pipe Services, LLC temporary site located at 111 Forge Ct, Malvern, PA 19355: The employer did not ensure that employees received adequate training to be knowledgeable about respirable crystalline silica in their workplace. Training did not include specific tasks in the workplace that could result in exposure to respirable crystalline silica, nor specific measures the employer has implemented to protect employees from exposure to silica. During the relining of storm sewer pipes, employees are required to use Strong-Seal Storm Seal cement, which contains silica. The condition was noted on or about September 17, 2020.
