29 CFR 1926.451(h)(2)(i): The area below the scaffold was not barricaded, and employees were not prohibited from entering the hazard area: a- Building 200, 211 - 224 Betty Lane, Ewing NJ - Workers and other worksite personnel were exposed to struck by hazards when walking and working beneath the company's a worksite pump jack scaffold that did not have the area beneath it barricaded. Condition observed on or about 02/27/20. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
