29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: At a facility located at 111 W Fountain Rd, Webb City, MO: Employees were exposed to potential stored energy hazards. This was demonstrated on or about February 11, 2020 when an employee was performing maintenance activities on equipment to replace a bearing without having developed and implemented written specific procedures for the effective de-energizing of each piece of equipment. The employer is failing to protect employees repairing and cleaning equipment that have potential stored energy hazards without providing any written specific procedures on the step by step process of de-energizing, testing and re-energizing.
