29 CFR 1926.960(e)(3): Loose conductors. When lines or equipment are connected to or disconnected from energized circuits, an employee shall keep loose conductors away from exposed energized parts. At a worksite located at 6760 West Farm Road 68, Willard, Missouri 65781, employees were exposed to serious electrical shock and burn hazards. Employees working from a utility bucket truck failed to keep loose conductors away from exposed energized parts. A service line that the employees were working on came into contact with an energized power line. Employees were exposed to 7.62kV of electrical current.
